The 2026 state budget envisions an 8.9% increase in revenue compared to the 2025 budget, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan told lawmakers on Monday.
“The revenue part of the 2026 state budget is essentially expected to increase by 253.4 billion drams, or 8.9%,” the Prime Minister said at a joint parliamentary committee hearing on the 2026 budget bill.
Pashinyan highlighted that one of the most important innovations for 2026 is the introduction of a universal health insurance system. During the adaptation period, all related costs will be fully covered by the government.
