Russia reaffirms offer to host Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty signing

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said Russia’s offer to host the signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan remains valid.
“Our offer to provide a platform for the signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan remains in force,” Galuzin said, according to the RIA Novosti news agency.
The Russian Deputy FM added that Moscow attaches particular importance to the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
Armenia and Azerbaijan initialed the peace agreement on August 8 in Washington during a peace summit brokered by U.S. President Donald Trump.
