Minister Hayrapetyan, Ethereum co-founder discuss Armenia’s role in the global Web3 ecosystem

Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan on Thursday met with Gavin Wood, founder of the Web3 Foundation, co-founder of Ethereum and a well-known expert in blockchain technologies.
According to the ministry, the parties discussed strengthening Armenia's role in the global Web3 ecosystem, promoting blockchain education and professional development, as well as creating new cooperation formats to incubate startups and expand investment opportunities.
Minister Hayrapetyan noted that such cooperation is an important step toward expanding Armenia's involvement in the global blockchain community and creating valuable opportunities for future technological innovators.
During the meeting, Gavin Wood also announced his intention to establish a Web3 University aimed at promoting technological, educational and economic development.
