Aliyev proposes joint military exercises for Turkic States in 2026

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev proposed that member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) conduct joint military exercises in Azerbaijan in 2026, according to the Azerbaijani media reports.

"Considering the extensive cooperation between our countries in military, defense, and security areas, we propose holding a joint military exercise for the member states of the Organization of Turkic States in Azerbaijan in 2026," he said.
