Armenia - Engineering Week 2025 opens with participation of Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan

The opening ceremony of “Armenia - Engineering Week 2025” took place in the Engineering City on October 3, with the participation of Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia.

Minister Hayrapetyan emphasized that Armenia should produce its own engineering products for both the domestic and global markets.

"It's time for us to think about having our own Samsung and selling it to the world. Here, in the Engineering City, science and innovation will become the foundation for new Armenian products," the minister said.

According to the source, “Armenia - Engineering Week” is an annual event in Armenia's engineering sector, held for the ninth consecutive year. It serves as an important platform to showcase the country’s engineering potential, achievements, and future vision, while positioning Armenia as a hub for innovative thinking and leading technological solutions in the region.

During the event, engineers will present their latest achievements across various fields, including artificial intelligence, automotive engineering, space industry, semiconductors, cybersecurity, high-performance computing, biomedical engineering, and smart manufacturing.

In parallel with the first two days of events, technological solutions and products developed by Armenian companies will also be showcased in an exhibition format, highlighting the vision for the future of the engineering sector.

The event is organized by the Enterprise Incubator Foundation and the Engineering Association, in cooperation with the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia.
