Armenian, Turkish ministers hold meeting

Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Arsen Torosyan has met with Turkish Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the RISE 2025 conference in Belgrade, Serbia.
The ministers discussed “a number of issues of mutual interest in the social protection area,” the Armenian ministry said in a press release.
“The parties discussed the sectoral priorities of the two countries and the ongoing work in those directions. In this context, the importance of expanding the scope of social services and improving their quality was mutually emphasized,” the ministry said.
Torosyan and his counterpart also spoke about the Armenia-Türkiye normalization process, expressing hope that sectoral cooperation will also contribute to this.
The parties expressed their willingness to exchange experience and develop cooperation.
