Parliament majority leader meets EU envoy

Hayk Konjoryan, the head of the Civil Contract faction in the Armenian Parliament—the ruling majority—has met with the Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos.

According to the parliament’s press service, MP Konjoryan and Ambassador Maragos discussed the prospects of Armenia-EU cooperation.

They also highlighted the progress of democratic reforms in Armenia and the EU’s support for democratic development.

The officials particularly emphasized the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the opportunities it presents.
