Spain extradites drug trafficking fugitive to Armenia

Spanish authorities have approved the Armenian General Prosecution’s request to extradite a drug trafficking suspect who allegedly smuggled around 1 kg of marijuana through Armenian territory.

The General Prosecution said in a press release that the suspect “participated in the smuggling” of 980.27 grams of marijuana through Armenia with intent to sell.

The fugitive has been transferred to Yerevan.
