Armenian Deputy FM, French Presidential Adviser discuss ties, regional agenda

Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan, during his visit to France, met with Bertrand Buchwalter, President Emmanuel Macron’s Adviser for Continental Europe and Türkiye.

According to a press release by the Armenian Foreign Ministry, the officials discussed Armenia–France bilateral relations, praising the active and continuous high-level political dialogue, as well as the effective and expanding partnership in strategically important areas.

Deputy FM Kostanyan and Mr. Buchwalter also discussed matters of mutual interest on the regional and international agenda, the ministry said.

Kostanyan briefed the French official on the Armenian–Azerbaijani accords signed on August 8 in Washington and praised France’s efforts toward establishing lasting peace in the South Caucasus.
