Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh and Secretary of National Security Council of Turkey, Okay Memiş discussed issues of mutual interest, including the regional situation, in Ankara, IRNA reported.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest regional developments, including the situation in Gaza. They emphasized the importance of solidarity and unity within the Islamic world, as well as the need for continued consultations between Iran and Turkey to overcome shared regional challenges.
Khatibzadeh expressed appreciation for the positions taken by the Turkish government and people in supporting and standing in solidarity with the Iranian nation during the military actions carried out by Israel against Iran.
