Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan held a meeting with Ethiopian Minister of Tourism Selamawit Kassa in Addis Ababa.
The ministers explored opportunities of developing cooperation in tourism between the two countries, as well as prospects of exchange of experience and joint initiatives, according to a press release issued by the ministry.
The sides attached importance to cooperation in cultural tourism, preservation of natural heritage and promotion of tourism flows.
Papoyan stated that Armenia is interested in expanding cooperation with countries in the African continent, including with Ethiopia, in the areas of tourism and hospitality.
An agreement was reached to continue partnership and look into the opportunities of implementing joint projects.
