President Khachaturyan tours Kapan, visits local airport

As part of his working visit to the Syunik region, President of the Republic of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan, accompanied by Governor Robert Ghukasyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khudatyan and Kapan Community Mayor Gevorg Parsyan, toured the city of Kapan.

According to the Presidential Office, the Mayor presented the President with ongoing urban infrastructure improvement projects to the President, as well as the construction of the new administrative building of the Kapan Municipality.

President Khachaturyan also visited the house-museum of Hrant Danielyan to become acquainted with the artist’s works.

In addition, the President toured Kapan Airport, where he was briefed on its operations and technical equipment.
