Russia is concerned about the decrease in trade with Armenia, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk has stated.

Overchuk told reporters that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin discussed, among other topics, bilateral trade during their meeting on July 24 in Russia, TASS reported.

“We discussed with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan the development of trade and economic cooperation. We are certainly concerned about the decline in trade between our two countries. We discussed what needs to be done to improve the situation,” Overchuk said, adding that issues related to Russian investments in Armenia were also addressed.
