Vietnam boat capsizing: Armenian embassy offers condolences

The Embassy of Armenia in Vietnam has expressed deep condolences to the families of the victims of the deadly tourist boat capsizing in Vietnam's Ha Long Bay.

“The Embassy of Armenia in Viet Nam expresses its deepest condolences to the families of the victims of the tragic incident involving a tourist boat in Ha Long on July 19, 2025, and wishes them strength and fortitude,” the embassy said in a statement published on social media.

A tourist boat has capsized in Vietnam's Ha Long Bay, killing at least 37 people and leaving 8 others missing in a thunderstorm. 

11 passengers were rescued. All persons aboard were citizens of Vietnam.
