Ringo Starr shares performance of Yerevan-based band during annual Peace and Love observance

Beatles legend Ringo Starr has shared on his Facebook page a video of a Yerevan-based band performing With a Little Help From My Friends as his birthday tribute.

Starr's annual Peace & Love Birthday Celebration takes place on July 7.

Ringo Starr famously asks fans every year to say Peace and Love at 12:00 p.m. local time on his birthday as a global gesture of goodwill.

The Yerevan-based The Beertles, retro fans and rock & rollers, performed the hit at The Beatles Pub in downtown Yerevan. As an homage to the English rock band, the singers wore the same outfit that the Beatles wore on the cover of the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album in 1967.

“Peace & Love from Yerevan, Armenia,” Starr commented.
