Socially vulnerable Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians will continue to receive monthly financial aid from the Armenian government until the end of 2025, authorities announced Thursday.

Deputy PM Tigran Khachatryan, speaking at the Cabinet meeting, presented the changes in the support program for forcibly displaced persons of Nagorno-Karabakh. He said that the relief program will continue only for minors, pensioners and persons with disabilities.

“We were supposed to shift to this targeted support mechanism from April, but we postponed it for two months. The 40,000 dram monthly rental support program went on for April and May, while the new regulation has taken effect starting June,” he said.

The government will pay monthly 30,000 drams per person to minors, pensioners and persons with disabilities who were forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh.
