Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced on Monday the successful completion of negotiations with the EU on a new partnership agenda.
“I am pleased to announce that Armenia and the EU have successfully completed negotiations on the new partnership agenda,” he said during a joint press conference with the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
“This ambitious document will supplement and deepen the Armenia–EU bilateral agenda by introducing new areas of cooperation. At the same time, it will promote the effective implementation of the Armenia–EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement,” Mirzoyan added.
He emphasized that Armenia–EU relations have never been as close and comprehensive as they are now.
Mirzoyan expressed gratitude to the EU for its programs and financial support in recent years, especially during challenging times. He highlighted key initiatives, including the Resilience and Growth Plan and other projects involving Armenia.
