Pashinyan, AmCham members discuss promoting investments

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a luncheon meeting with members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia (AmCham), representing companies across various sectors.

PM Pashinyan emphasized the importance of such meetings and described them as an excellent opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest, according to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office. He noted that these meetings help shape the agenda for further cooperation between the Armenian government and the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia.

Elina Markaryan, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia, expressed gratitude to the Armenian government for supporting institutional dialogue with the private sector. She highlighted the significance of strengthening future cooperation. AmCham’s key priorities were presented, emphasizing the association’s role in serving as a bridge between the government and the business community.

Matters pertaining to the economic policy related to promotion of investments, improvement of the business environment, tax regulations and ongoing reforms were discussed.

The sides attached importance to continuous dialogue and reiterated readiness to continue closely cooperating in the direction of strengthening Armenia’s economic resilience and international competitiveness.
