Iranian army chief of staff killed in Israeli strike

An Israeli airstrike has killed the chief of staff of Iran’s armed forces, Gen. Mohammad Bagheri, Iranian state media reported.
Hossein Salami, commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was also killed in Israel's strikes early on Friday.
Tasnim news agency said that Mohammad-Mehdi Tehranchi, a nuclear scientist and president of the Islamic Azad University, and Fereydoun Abbasi, also a nuclear scientist and former head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran were also assassinated in separate strikes.
Also according to Tasnim, Commander of Khatam al-Anbia Headquarters Major General Gholamali Rashid was also killed in the Israeli strikes.
