JD Vance: There is a fundamental mistrust between Russia and the West

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said on May 19 that Russia and the West do not trust each other, but President Donald Trump is willing to move beyond all past mistakes.

"There is a fundamental mistrust between Russia and the West. This is one of the things that Trump thinks is just plain stupid, and we should be able to overcome the mistakes that were made in the past, but it takes two to tango... " he said.
