62 Ghanaian citizens killed in war against Ukraine: Foreign Minister

Sixty-two Ghanaian citizens have been killed during Russia’s military operations against Ukraine, while another 15 are missing, Ghanaian Foreign Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, TASS reports.
“Sixty-two Ghanaians have died, and 15 are currently considered missing,” he told a press conference in Moscow.
According to the minister, he also discussed with Lavrov the need to stop the illegal recruitment of Ghanaian citizens to participate in Russia’s military operations.
