Kadyrov announced a request to relieve him from the position of head of Chechnya

The Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov has announced about his intention to leave his current position. 

Commented on rumors of his resignation to journalists, he said.

"I've heard the rumors too. They write all sorts of different things. On the contrary, I myself ask to be relieved of my post. The other will have his own initiatives, his own vision. I hope that they will support my request," Chechnya Today quotes Kadyrov.
