17 bridges, 5 junctions under development along Kajaran-Agarak road

The construction of Kajaran-Agarak road is underway, authorities said Monday.
17 bridges and 5 junctions are planned to be constructed along the 32km long Kajaran-Agarak section of North-South Tranche 4, the Road Department said in a press release.
6 bridges are currently in the concreting phase, while foundation construction is proceeding for 11 bridges.
One of the transport junctions bypassing Meghri has coincided and is being built on the active M-2 highway. The contractor had built a bypass for the section of M-2 prior to launching the project in order to ensure uninterrupted traffic.
