The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reaffirmed its strong commitment to media freedom on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, Foreign Ministry spokesperson said in a post on X.
"On World Press FreedomDay, we reaffirm the strong commitment to media freedom as an important component for upholding the rights of our citizens. With the same rational, we continue the efforts towards countering disinformation & dealing with the challenges prompted by rapid technological progress,'' she has posted.
According to the Foreign Ministry, Armenia has recorded notable achievements, including the advancement by 9 positions to 34th place in RSF-inter’s 2025 Press Freedom Index – a clear testament to democratic resilience & reform efforts.
