Nearly 40 killed, over 60 injured in Gaza in past 24 hours

According to health authorities in Gaza, Israeli air attacks have killed at least 39 Palestinians in Gaza in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll in 18 months of war to 51,240,  Al Jazeera reported.

It said 62 others were admitted to hospitals, taking the number of wounded people to 116,931.
