Armenian first responders rescue injured tourist lost in Dilijan forest

Armenian first responders in the Tavush province have rescued a foreign national who was incapacitated after suffering a fall and getting lost in the forests of Dilijan.
The foreign national, whose identity was not released by the authorities, called 911 via mobile phone midday April 19 and asked for help, saying they got lost in the Dilijan forest, fell and most likely fractured their leg and cannot move.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a press release that a search and rescue team was dispatched to the area. As a result of the search operations, the victim was found and evacuated to a hospital.
