Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Kirants together with the participants of the business workshop titled “Increasing Armenia’s Economic Competitiveness through Improving Policies and Administration.”
The visit aimed to observe the work carried out following the border demarcation and to assess the state of local infrastructure.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the workshop participants visited the Kirants Primary School, constructed within the framework of the Government’s “300 Schools, 500 Kindergartens” program. They also became acquainted with the restoration works of the 19th-century Holy Trinity Church, which are funded by the Government.
Participants were informed that several dozen houses are currently being built in the border village of Kirants with state housing assistance. The support covers the repayment of the mortgage principal amount up to 16 million drams, as well as up to 13% of the loan interest.
