PM Pashinyan extends Malake Taus felicitations to Yezidi community

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan released a congratulatory statement to the representatives of the Yezidi community of Armenia on the occasion of the Malake Taus holiday, the Prime Minister’s Office has said.

“Dear representatives of the Yezidi community of the Republic of Armenia,

I warmly congratulate all of you on the occasion of the New Year, Malake Taus holiday.

This bright folk holiday is a beautiful occasion to share joy and once again send words of good wishes to all representatives of the Yezidi community of Armenia.

I am convinced that the Yezidis of the Republic of Armenia, as responsible citizens, will continue to make their visible contribution to the development of our state.

The government, in turn, is determined to support the preservation and development of the identity of the Yezidi community of the Republic of Armenia, access to education, and economic activity.

Congratulating you once again on the occasion of the Malake Taus holiday, I wish that the coming year will be a year of abundance and prosperity, success, and happiness for the Republic of Armenia and the Yezidi community of the Republic of Armenia.”
