Vice Speaker of Parliament of Armenia Ruben Rubinyan said Tuesday that the use of force was unacceptable in any case and that Azerbaijan had no chance to legitimize its ceasefire violations.
“The gunshots from Azerbaijan have no chance of legitimization because the use of force is unacceptable in any case,” Rubinyan said, referring to the Azeri ceasefire violations, particularly the recent cross-border targeting of the Khnatsakh village in Syunik.
Photos released by the Armenian Ministry of Defense showed bullet holes in the building of the Cultural Center of Khnatsakh settlement in the Syunik Province which came under Azeri small arms fire. Days earlier the Azeri military had fired on a village home in Khnatsakh. No casualties were reported.
