Myanmar earthquake death toll rises to over 2,800

The death toll in Myanmar has risen to 2,886, with 4,639 injured and 373 still missing, five days after the powerful earthquake struck on Friday, Xinhua news agency reported citing the country's State Administration Council information team.

In neighboring Thailand, the death toll reached 22, with dozens still missing.
