Tax chief highlights construction in 2025 revenues

State Revenue Committee Chairman Eduard Hakobyan has said that the construction sector is expected to have an increased role in tax collection this year. 

“Since the construction of numerous apartment buildings in Yerevan is nearing completion, this year we have potential to collect more taxes. When we look at this year’s tax collections, we see that construction already has a big role,” Hakobyan told lawmakers at the parliamentary committee on fiscal and budgetary affairs during a meeting on the 2024 government report. He was asked on possible positive developments in tax revenues this year.
