Anders Fogh Rasmussen, former Secretary General of NATO and founder of Rasmussen Global, expressed hope on Thursday that the international community will make it clear to Azerbaijan that a military aggression against Armenia would be unacceptable.
Asked at a press conference in Ijevan, Armenia, Rasmussen said he doesn’t have information about Azerbaijan preparing for a possible attack against Armenia. “I hope that the international community will send a message to Azerbaijan that its attack or military aggression against Armenia cannot be acceptable for the international community,” Rasmussen said.
He said that the chance for peace that has emerged with the finalization of the draft peace agreement must not be missed.
Azerbaijan has been falsely accusing Armenia of violating the ceasefire on the border over the course of the past few days.
