Qatar hopes Armenia, Azerbaijan will enter a new phase of cooperation

Qatar has welcomed the agreement reached between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan on a peace treaty, expressing hope that the two countries will enter a new phase of cooperation, development, and prosperity, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced.
The ministry has stated that the agreement also enhances security and stability in the Caucasus region and reaffirms the effectiveness of peaceful means in resolving disputes and conflicts worldwide.
It further reaffirmed Qatar's full support for all regional and international efforts aimed at strengthening dialogue platforms for a more peaceful, secure, and prosperous world.
The governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan announced on March 13 that the negotiations around the peace treaty have been successfully concluded. The date and location of signing the agreement is yet to be determined.
