Kuwait welcomes conclusion of Armenia-Azerbaijan peace talks

Kuwait has welcomed the conclusion of peace talks between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, calling it a “historic step” toward opening a new chapter between the two countries, promoting greater stability and prosperity, and strengthening peace and security in the Caucasus region, the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry said in a post on X.
The ministry reaffirmed its support for all regional and international efforts to resolve and manage conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means.
The governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan announced on March 13 that the negotiations around the peace treaty have been successfully concluded. The date and location of signing the agreement is yet to be determined.
