The finalized text of the would-be peace treaty with Azerbaijan doesn’t contain any unilateral terms, Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan has said.
“There is not a single unilateral regulation,” he said at a parliamentary committee hearing in response to questions by opposition MPs. “There is not a single regulation that’s not beneficial for us and is beneficial only for Azerbaijan. And there is not a single regulation that would humiliate the Republic of Armenia instead of leading us to peace and normalization of relations,” he said.
The governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan announced on March 13 that the negotiations around the peace treaty have been successfully concluded. The date and location of signing the agreement are yet to be determined. Numerous countries have lauded the achievement and expressed hope for swift signing of the treaty.
