Armenia- India defence cooperation explored in New Delhi

Armenia’s Ambassador to India, Vahagn Afyan, met with Vishwesh Negi, the Joint Secretary of International Cooperation at the Indian Ministry of Defense, who welcomed the important mission already undertaken by Armenia’s Defense Attaché to India, Colonel Arkadi Tonoyan.
According to the statement issued by the embassy, during the meeting, issues regarding the agreements reached as a result of the meeting between the defense ministers of the two countries, organizing reciprocal visits, ensuring the continuity of defense consultations between the defense ministries of the two countries, and developing mutually beneficial cooperation were addressed.
The meeting also focused on regional developments, in particular Armenia's commitment to the peace agenda and directions for deepening bilateral friendly cooperation.
