U.S. Congressman Michael Lawler briefed on Armenian-Azerbaijani peace process

On March 4, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United States, Lilit Makunts met with Congressman Michael Lawler (Republican, New York).

During the meeting, the parties discussed the enhancement of Armenia-US bilateral relations and the important role of the US Congress in this matter, the embassy said in a readout.

The Ambassador briefed the Congressman on the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process.

In his public remarks, the Congressman has repeatedly expressed support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia, for which the Ambassador thanked the Congressman.
