President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday lauded Russia’s growing ties with Myanmar during a Kremlin meeting with the Asian country’s junta chief.
"The relations between our countries are steadily developing," Putin told junta chief Min Aung Hlaing in a televised meeting at the Kremlin.
"We have great potential," he said, hailing growing trade ties.
"This time, while visiting Russia, you have a very extensive program, including additional visits to three cities. I am sure it will be both useful and interesting," Putin said.
