Head of Directorate of Federal Police at the German interior ministry Isabel Schmitt-Falckenberg has visited Armenia and met with Markus Ritter, head of the European Union monitoring mission (EUMA).
EUMA said on social media that the German official visited the mission’s forward operating base in Jermuk and joined a patrol.
“Honoured to host Ms Isabel Schmitt-Falckenberg, Head of Directorate of Federal Police, German Ministry of Interior. She was briefed about EUMA’s tasks, situation on the ground, visited FOB Jermuk, joined the patrol in Paruyr Sevak. German contingent in EUMA is the largest- 23 members,” EUMA said on X.
