Armenia’s actions are not directed against any other country and Yerevan continues dialogue with all its partners, including Russia, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan has said.
“The steps by the Republic of Armenia are not directed against any partner. We have and continue our dialogue with all partners, including Russia,” he said at a press briefing when asked whether the EU accession process is directed against Russia.
He mentioned Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan’s recent visit to Russia where he had “rather constructive” discussions with Russian FM Sergey Lavrov.
Asked whether PM Nikol Pashinyan is planning to visit Moscow anytime soon, Kostanyan said no such visit is on the agenda now.
“If such visits were to be planned then certainly our colleagues at the government would announce it. At this moment we don’t have that on the agenda,” he said.
