Participants of the Ucom Fellowship Program recently visited Ucom’s headquarters, where they engaged in an inspiring exchange with Ucom’s, General Director, Ralph Yirikian.
During the visit, Mr. Yirikian led an interactive discussion on Good Leadership and Management, sharing key insights from his extensive experience in the telecommunications and business sectors. Fellows had the opportunity to discuss their projects, receive guidance on effective leadership strategies, and explore the principles of sustainable business growth.
Reflecting on the visit, Ralph Yirikian emphasized the importance of mentorship in shaping the next generation of leaders:
"I am happy to meet Ucom Fellowship Program startup teams in Ucom HQ, to share my experience, learn about the progress they have made during the incubation and answer their questions. We in Ucom strongly believe in technologies and that they are able to help us preserve environment and create a green future for the next generations”, mentioned Ralph Yirikian, General Director of Ucom.
"Collaborating with Ucom, under the exceptional leadership of Ralph Yirikian, aligns perfectly with our commitment to nurturing sustainable innovation. Ralph's human-oriented approach not only resonates with our values but also adds a profound dimension to our joint endeavor, enhancing our ability to support forward-thinking entrepreneurs who are ready to make a significant environmental impact,” said Impact Hub Yerevan’s CEO Gevorg Poghosyan.
Ucom’s Communication team also hosted a dedicated session on Good PR Practices, offering participants valuable expertise on media relations, brand positioning, and strategic communication. The discussion provided fellows with practical tools to enhance their outreach efforts and build a strong public presence for their initiatives.
The visit served as a significant milestone in the Ucom Fellowship Program, reinforcing Ucom’s commitment to fostering young talent and equipping them with the necessary knowledge and mentorship to bring their ideas to life.
As the program progresses, participants will continue to engage in tailored workshops, mentorship sessions, and collaborative activities, culminating in a pitching event where one standout project will receive a financial award to support its growth and execution.
