Senior MP highlights continual delimitation process

A senior Armenian lawmaker has highlighted the importance of continuity in the delimitation process with Azerbaijan.

MP Andranik Kocharyan, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Defense and Security Affairs, was asked by reporters about the delimitation process un Tuesday. 

“The objective is for the delimitation process not to be halted. The most significant achievement in 2024 was that we didn’t fire at each other,” Kocharyan told reporters at an Army Day event.

Each peaceful day must be correctly used in terms of strengthening the foundation of the military and tolerating each other, he said.

“Today’s meaning is about unity. The foundations laid in the 1990s and in 1994 became the foundation of imposing ceasefire upon the adversary,” the MP said.
