Russia ready to negotiate over Ukraine conflict, assures Putin

Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced that Russia is ready to negotiate pertaining to the Ukrainian conflict.

According to RIA Novosti, the President clarified that certain issues require special attention.

The Russian President noted that the Ukrainian authorities themselves had issued a decree banning negotiations with Russia.

Putin also commented on former U.S. President Donald Trump's statements about the Ukraine issue. He remarked that Trump had repeatedly emphasized the importance of negotiations.

Putin added that Moscow is ready for dialogue, highlighting the need for a constructive approach.
