Armenia continues to work in the direction of establishing peace with Azerbaijan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said.
Speaking at a panel discussion in Davos 2025, Pashinyan presented the Crossroads of Peace and noted that the project will work when peace is finally achieved.
“This project will work when we will be able to create sustainable peace with Azerbaijan which unfortunately isn’t the case now, we are working on it. It is very important, now we need to be able to establish diplomatic relations with Turkiye, and we are working on this topic as well, usually people are asking whether I am optimistic or pessimistic on this matter, I should say that I am neither optimistic nor pessimistic, I am pragmatic, I just understand that we need to work until the task is solved. The main and most important thing is not to be derailed from peace agenda, we need to concentrate on the goal and continue to work without giving up, without being frustrated, but in this case, we need to have support of international community and I hope this support will be delivered,” Pashinyan said.
