Armenian Defense Minister meets Greek counterpart

On May 6, within the framework of his working visit to Greece, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan met with the Minister of National Defense of Greece Nikos Dendias.

The Ambassador of Armenia to Greece Tigran Mkrtchyan also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to Armenia–Greece cooperation in the defense sector, the ministry said in a readout.

Both parties expressed satisfaction with the current high level of cooperation and emphasized their readiness to further enhance cooperation in the fields of military education, experience exchange across various domains, and other areas.

Regional and international security issues were also addressed during the meeting.
