Armenia hopes for no more unilateral comments from Russian side

Armenia hopes Russia will avoid making unilateral comments, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan told his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.

During the meeting Mirzoyan said Armenia is interested in continuing the effective political dialogue aimed at discussing the bilateral ties and issues impacting the regional situation.

He said Armenia is always committed to the principle of open and constructive dialogue. “And we hope that in the future the Russian side will take into account all components of what is happening, by avoiding unilateral comments, which, regrettably, we saw recently. I hope today’s meeting will contribute to mutual understanding,” Mirzoyan said.
