Crime rate drops, says minister

Crime rate has dropped 1,1%, Armenian Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan has said.

“This means that the police, the entire law enforcement system and all other structures have worked consistently, and it allowed to ensure a 1,1% decrease in the statistics of recorded crimes,” Sargsyan said at a press conference. 

81,4% of crimes are minor and medium crimes, which means that Armenia is a very safe country, the minister said.
