Meeting between Armenian and U.S. officials expected

YEREVAN, JANUARY 8, ARMENPRESS. A meeting between Armenian and American officials is planned, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said.

Mirzoyan made the announcement at a press conference in response to opinions by the expert community that Armenia and the U.S. could sign a strategic partnership agreement before the inauguration of Donald Trump. 

“We have strategic dialogue which we agreed to elevate to a strategic partnership. Of course there are documents under discussion in this regard. A meeting between officials representing Armenia and the United States is also planned,” he said.
