Pashinyan sends condolences to Indian Prime Minister

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS.Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a telegram of condolences to Prime Minister Narendra Modi of the Republic of India on the death of Manmohan Singh, the 15th Prime Minister of the Republic of India.

 The telegram of condolences reads:

"I learned with deep sorrow about the death of Manmohan Singh, the 15th Prime Minister of the Republic of India.

Under the leadership of Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Republic of India and its people witnessed significant economic growth and achievements. I am confident that his honorable name and memory will remain bright in everyone’s hearts.

Mr. Singh’s contributions to strengthening Armenia-India relations were also significant.

On behalf of the Armenian people and the Government of the Republic of Armenia, we extend our deepest condolences and support to you and the friendly people of India.

We wish Mr. Singh’s family and loved ones patience and strength during this difficult time.''
