Minister of Internal Affairs receives UNDP delegation

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan met with a delegation led by UNDP Resident Representative in Armenia, Natia Natsvlishvili, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

During the meeting, Ms. Natsvlishvili congratulated Ms. Sargsyan on her appointment and wished her success as Minister of Internal Affairs. She highlighted the importance of strengthening cooperation and expressed readiness to expand the partnership's scope.

Ms. Sargsyan, in turn, thanked the United Nations Development Program for its support, emphasizing the positive outcomes of their collaboration in police reform efforts.

According to the ministry's statement, the meeting addressed existing cooperation in areas such as migration, citizenship development services, and rescue services. Special attention was given to assessing needs aimed at enhancing resilience in the Lori and Tavush regions.
